When I walked into Blue Hippo Coffee Co. at 662 Bloomfield Avenue in Verona, New Jersey, the first feeling I had was cozy. It is a quaint breakfast and lunch spot located in the downtown area with an assortment of drinks, freshly baked pastries, and a unique menu. The decor and presentation of the food adds to the unique style of the Blue Hippo. My personal favorite is the Cheesy Scramble with bacon and unsweetened black tea with a dash of cinnamon because it fills me up. Next time you’re looking for somewhere to have brunch, stop by the Blue Hippo!
