The Argosy: "Launched Never to Anchor"

Alessandra DiFilippo, STEM Editor

Alessandra DiFilippo (she goes by Ally) is a current senior. This is her second year working with the Argosy. She is very passionate about many STEM fields and intends to go into Engineering (although she is not certain which type yet). Robotics, Programming, Biology, and Biotechnology are her most prominent interests at the moment, but the list is always growing. Don't let her love of math and science fool you, though! She is also a huge fan of literature, poetry, and digital art.  Fairy tales are her personal favorite to read, but she is also a fan of fantasy, dystopian, and slam poetry. An encyclopedia of obscure facts, she actually enjoys watching nature documentaries and reading nonfiction scientific anthologies. She is currently working on writing a few short stories and a novel, as well as poems whenever inspiration strikes. If she isn't in class or in the library, she would likely be found in room 202 working on her robot, STR-9!
