MSDA welcomes Ms. Traci Orlandino as Director of Finance and Operations. After officially joining the staff in November, Mrs. Orlandino is very excited to take on a position here at MSDA that she has years of experience in. As a mission-driven professional, Ms. Orlandino has extensive experience overseeing daily finance and operations and contributing to long-term strategic planning and human resource needs. Principal Dr. Karen D’Avino noted that “Mrs. Orlandino will be an asset to the Executive Leadership Team to develop staffing plans that are data-informed and aligned with market trends, financial considerations, growth, retention, and diversity goals.”
Ms. Orlandino holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and an MBA from Seton Hall University, and a second Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Montclair State University. Traci’s key professional responsibilities have spanned the full spectrum of both finance and human resources, including employment processes, full-cycle recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, payroll administration, and employee relations, as well as rewards and recognition. Additionally, Ms. Orlandino brings over 15 years of experience in both public and charter schools, most recently working at College Achieve Public Charter School. At MSDA, Ms. Orlandino’s responsibilities will center around accounting and management, while also assisting in the recruitment and retention of qualified faculty and staff.
Ms. Orlandino has lived right here in Caldwell for 25 years and is “happy to be back in a faith-based organization.” She prepared for her position by familiarizing herself with the differences in a private school such as MSDA. Our community is excited to welcome Ms. Orlandino and looks forward to seeing her bring her extensive experience and professional background to this role and looks forward to collaborating with “each of [us] to support our shared mission and goals.”
